How the bands are judged

Each band is a chase priority for October 2026, after Update 4 widened the pool and Update 5 moved hunts into new zones. Income, chase difficulty, and whether the hatch is worth a slot are the only criteria. Re-measure after a patch. Do not treat the letters as an official Cr4nky Studios ranking.

priorityS-band eggs and hatchesEditorial priority for the strongest income keeps once your treadmill already finishes hard escapes. These are not named species. B tier

priorityB-band eggs and hatchesEditorial priority for practice eggs and early income. They teach timing and camera angles without punishing every mistake. Income is fine for an empty plot and weak once stronger keeps exist.

Player decision Farm B targets to practice the exit lane. Keep them only while slots are free. Sell them when you are buying the Speed rank that unlocks A nests.

C tier

priorityC-band eggs and hatchesEditorial priority for starter shells. Any hatch beats an empty plot on day one. After a few income Squishies exist, these are warm-ups or instant sells.

Player decision Do not spend a long chase on C targets in a six-player server. Sell them once A or S keeps exist.
